About this piece

White border postcard of the Church of the Brethren in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania, printed by Curt Teich in its C.T. American Art line in the 1920s. The front shows the red brick church with its crenellated corner towers, large rose window, front porch and double stairway, with a neighboring frame house at left. Standard 3.5 x 5.5 in, unposted and unwritten. Good vintage condition with light toning and a few small spots along the edges.

Front caption: "Church of the Brethren, Meyersdale, Pa." Back: divided back marked "Published by I. Robbins & Son, Pittsburgh, Pa." with the IRAS Superior Quality Brand logo, number 95, Curt Teich code A-101457, and a one cent / two cents stamp box.

A nice small-town denominational view for Church of the Brethren, Somerset County and western Pennsylvania collectors.
