White border era printed postcard of the New Catholic Cathedral, St. Louis, Missouri, published by the E. C. Kropp Co. of Milwaukee. Front shows the Romanesque cathedral with its green dome and twin towers, a rose window, and an early automobile parked along the street. Standard 3.5 x 5.5 in, unposted with a blank back. Good vintage condition with light corner wear, mild toning, and a pink stain at the upper left of the back that slightly touches the caption.
Front caption: "New Catholic Cathedral, St. Louis, Mo." with view number 32. Back caption: "New Catholic Cathedral, Lindell & Newstead Aves., St. Louis, Mo. Remarkable as one of the greatest modern examples of ecclesiastical architecture. The entire cathedral including its apse, is 365 feet long and 212 feet wide. Was designed by Geo. D. Bornett, and cost of construction was over $2,750,000."
