Original vintage black-and-white snapshot taken at a public swimming pool: a laughing girl in a bathing cap in the water in the foreground, a boy climbing over the rope-lined pool edge painted with depth markers 2 1/2 and 2, girls in period swimsuits and caps at the railing, and a boy on a park bench on the grassy bank behind. Small deckle-edge print with rounded corners, about 3.5 x 2.5 inches. Condition: light corner wear, a small crease at the lower right corner, and album-page toning lines and a faint stamped number on the back.

From a mid-century family photo album purchased at auction in Canfield, Ohio. No names or place are written on the photo.

A lively candid of a mid-century community pool for swimming, summer and vernacular photo collectors.
