Lot 16 Vintage 1960s Mod Fashion Snapshot Photos Woman Bell Bottoms Boots Bob — photo 1 of 24

Photo 1 of 24

About this piece

Lot of 16 original vintage black-and-white snapshots from a single outdoor photo session of the same young woman posing like a fashion model. She wears a mod bob, dark eyeliner, a ribbed short-sleeve sweater, flared bell-bottom pants and heeled ankle boots, sometimes with a knotted neck scarf or a polka-dot headscarf. Poses include sitting on a split-rail fence, leaning on pines, standing under an oak, reclining and lying on the lawn, and a close head-and-shoulders portrait against spruce boughs. Each print about 5 x 3.5 inches with white borders. Condition: very good overall; faint thin lines on a few and light scratches on one; blank backs with album-page toning lines.

From a family photo album from Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, purchased at auction in Canfield, Ohio. No names are written on the photos.

A coherent run of amateur late-60s style photography for fashion, hairstyle and vernacular photo collectors. Companion lot of 21 more prints from the same session listed separately.
