Vintage advertising work apron printed Hoffmann Bros. Lumber & Coal, Manning, Iowa. Natural canvas bib-style carpenter's apron with a full-width lower pocket, neck loop and waist ties, the bib attached with metal rivets. About 23 inches long and 19 inches wide. Well used: overall soiling and staining, rust spots near the rivets, and frayed tie ends — the lettering is still bold and fully legible.

The black lettering has a small printer's mark between LUMBER and COAL, and the printing shows faintly through on the back. One waist tie is frayed at the end.
