Pair of vintage praying hands bookends: two raised hands in a cream finish, each on an L-shaped base painted to look like weathered wood. Set them side by side and the hands meet in a praying position. Heavy cast construction, about 6 1/4 inches tall and 5 inches wide. Good used condition with a few small chips at the wrist bases and base edges, light scuffs; red felt on the bottom of one.

Unmarked — no maker's name seen in the photos. A meaningful piece for a pastor's study, a church library or a home bookshelf.
