About this piece
Original full-page 1927 advertisement for Faust Instant Coffee by the C. F. Blanke Tea & Coffee Co. of St. Louis, carefully removed from a 1927 drugstore almanac. The page measures about 7.5" x 5.25" inches. Light even toning; the binding edge is a bit rough, with small chips, stitch holes and a small dark mark.
"Discard the Coffee Pot" — the ad shows a Blanke's Faust Instant Coffee can and an elegant hand spooning coffee into a cup beside a pouring kettle. It also mentions Faust Tea in soluble form and names Blanke as makers of Faust Chile Powder.
An early instant-coffee ad and a nice piece of St. Louis food and beverage advertising — good for coffee collectors, kitchen decor, framing or junk journals.
