Framed United States Army Materiel Command "Certificate of Recognition" issued at Anniston Army Depot, dated 15 January 1993, with the red, white and blue AMC shield emblem at the top. Awarded to a named depot employee "For Accruing 1000 Hours of Sick Leave" and signed in ink by the Colonel commanding Anniston Army Depot. In a dark woodgrain frame with gold inner trim, under glass. Used, with light toning and handling marks on the certificate and minor wear to the frame.

The back is a hardboard panel with sawtooth hangers on the top and side, embossed with a government stock number and the maker's name KANDU with 1991.

A curious piece of Anniston Army Depot and Army Materiel Command history from the depot's civilian workforce side, and a fun conversation piece for anyone who collects depot or Calhoun County memorabilia.
