Early printed postcard of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Walkerville, Ont., Canada, published by Valentine & Sons Publishing Co. (Montreal and Toronto), posted from Windsor, Ontario in February 1916 with a scarce "Delayed Account Mail Robbery" handstamp. Color view of the stone church tower, red-roofed lych gate and church buildings with gardens and cemetery crosses in front. Standard 3.5 x 5.5 in, posted. Fair to good condition with corner and edge wear, light creasing and surface wear, and toning on the back.

Postal history: Windsor, Ont. machine cancel dated Feb 21, 1916 on a red 2-cent Canada King George V Admiral stamp, plus a purple two-line handstamp reading "Delayed Account Mail Robbery. Feb. 22-1916." Addressed to Miss Georgia, Pleasant Plains, Illinois, USA. A "25¢" pencil note is at the top of the back.

Message dated Feb 21, 1916: "Trusting this finds all well with you all. I remain just the same, your friend for ever. Give my regards to every-body." Signed T. J. Davis.

Front caption "St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Walkerville, Ont., Canada" with code 107826 and JV monogram; back imprint of Valentine & Sons with the "Famous the World Over" globe logo. Of interest to Ontario/Windsor-area, church, and Canadian postal history collectors.
