About this piece
Real photo postcard (RPPC) of an unidentified brick church with a tall central bell tower, clock faces, a slender spire topped by a cross, and a second cross over the arched front door. An iron fence runs along the front lawn with trees at either side. No caption or place name appears on the card. AZO stamp box, standard 3.5 x 5.5 in, unposted. Good vintage condition with sepia toning, light surface spotting on the sky, edge wear, and a few small stains on the back.
Back: printed "POST CARD", "CORRESPONDENCE HERE" and "NAME AND ADDRESS HERE" with a divided back and the AZO stamp box with triangles in all four corners pointing up, a style generally dated about 1904-1918. No writing, postmark or stamp.
A good candidate for collectors of small-town American church architecture or anyone trying to match an unlabeled church photo to their hometown parish.
