Original vintage black-and-white snapshot of a curly-haired little girl in a puff-sleeve dress and Mary Janes holding her ice cream cone up to the mouth of a life-size fiberglass cow statue, the kind that stood outside roadside dairy bars and ice cream stands. The cow is roped to a stake with a hay basket and a milk pail beside it, and 1950s cars are parked in the background. Deckle-edge print measuring about 4.7 x 3.3 inches. Condition: good, with light wear.

From a family photo album from Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, purchased at auction in Canfield, Ohio. The dairy stand is not named in the photo.

A delightful piece of roadside Americana for dairy, ice cream and vernacular photo collectors.
