Hand-stitched needlepoint cover in lavender-purple and pale blue with cream lettering. One side reads SING TO THE LORD and the other SING A NEW SONG, from Psalm 96. It appears to be made as a wraparound cover for a hymnal or songbook, with the two panels joined at the spine. About 11.4 x 13.1 inches as measured. Used condition with light soiling and a couple of small spots on the stitching.

A nice handmade piece for a church choir member, music minister or anyone who sings in worship. It could also be displayed or framed.
