Photo 1 of 6

About this piece

A group of five original full-page hair-care advertisements, carefully removed from a 1927 drugstore almanac. Each page measures about 7.5" x 5.25" inches. Light even toning, with small binding holes along one edge from removal; no tears seen.

Ads included: Newbro's Herpicide, with a photo of Mrs. Anna Conner and her floor-length hair (The Herpicide Co., Detroit) • KDX Koken's Dandruff Exterminator bottle and box (Koken Companies, St. Louis, makers of barbers' supplies) • B. Paul's Henna Wonder Herb Hair Coloring with its decorated can (New York) • Sergeant's Mange Medicine and Shampoo Soap, "Save the Hair" (Polk Miller Drug Co., Richmond, Va.) • Scheffler's Colorine hair dye and Jean's Henné Oriental (New York Hair Co.).

A natural group for barber shop and barberiana collectors, hair tonic bottle collectors, salon decor, framing or junk journals. The cover photo shows all five pages; each is also pictured on its own.
