American Legion garrison (overseas style) cap in dark navy wool-look fabric with gold piping, embroidered "308" over "NEBRASKA" in gold on one side and a covered wagon pulled by a team of red-and-white oxen on the other, with the embroidered American Legion emblem on the front. Size 7 1/4 per the inside tag. Clean overall with light surface lint and normal wear from use; embroidery is bright and intact.

Inside is a gold lining and brown sweatband, with tags reading "National Emblem Sales, National Headquarters, The American Legion, Indianapolis, Ind" and "Made in U.S.A.", plus a size and lot tag marked 7 1/4.

The number 308 is embroidered above the state name in the usual Legion cap layout, where it marks the post. A nice piece for American Legion collectors, Nebraska veterans' memorabilia, or anyone tracing a family member's post.
