Large collection of vintage changeable sign letters and numbers, the slide-in panel kind used on marquee, church and business letter boards. Black characters on white and cream panels in three sizes, stored in a brown steel drawer-style case with a front pull handle, latch and lift lid, plus a cardboard divided tray and a box of loose flat letter cards. Used condition with scuffs, scratches, edge wear and some yellowing and rust-colored staining on panel edges; the case has light wear and "Letters" handwritten on the front.

The steel case holds cardboard dividers sorted by character, with large and medium panels on one side and a run of smaller cream panels including numerals and symbols such as a percent sign. Several hundred pieces in all, though not counted; quantities vary by character and the set is not guaranteed complete.

The separate divided cardboard tray holds more medium panels, and the striped box holds thinner flat letter cards with black block letters. Good stock for replacing missing letters on an existing board, for signage, or for decor and craft projects.
